The Safeplay tunnel balancer comprises two galvanised steel drums mounted in tubular steel frames with a balancing  beam plank connecting the two frames. The frames include tubular steel ladders providing access to the two tunnels.

The combination of climbing crawling and balancing activities required by the child to transit the apparatus make the tunnel balancer ideal for the development of co-ordination and balance. The tubular steel framework of the apparatus provide additional climbing space.

Construction

• Galvansed pipe and drums used in construction for rust proofing and corrosion protection.
• All welds are full welds, ground down, cleaned up and painted with cold galv for further rust prevention.
• Painted with PA10 undercoat as further protection against rust and corrosion.
• All steel work finished with two coats of enamel gloss paint. 
• Wooden balance beam Meranti timber plank sanded down to remove splinters. Sealed with varnish.
