The Safeplay Small Round-a-bout comprises a circular deck around a raised central column with six tubular steel radial arms radiating out from the central column, bent over on the ends and welded to the rim of the circular deck. The circular deck, columns and radial arms are mounted on a shaft in the ground around which the apparatus rotates. Smooth rotation of the Roundabout is achieved by means of a bearing. The children grip the radial tubular arms and use their legs and feet to propel the roundabout before jumping onto the deck and enjoying the ride as the roundabout continues to spin round and round. angle and tubular steel construction.

Construction

• Galvanised sheet metal and galvansed tubular steel used in construction for rust proofing and corrosion protection.
• All welds are full welds, ground down, cleaned up and painted with cold galv for further rust prevention.
• Painted with PA10 undercoat as further protection against rust and corrosion.
• All steel work finished with two coats of enamel gloss paint.
