Herbert's son Brian joined the company and later took over as owner/manager and continued the development of the Safplay range as well as consolidating the companies position as the regions top steel playground equipment manufacturer. 

Brian's eldest son Paul later joined the company and for a while the company expanded its range to include wooden adventure playground structures to satisfy the demand for these products. The timber playground equipment market soon became saturated as many smaller companies entered the wooden playground equipment market and the timber play structures were dropped from the range. The company continues however to supply a range of add on steel components for timber play structures to the trade and private individuals.

In addition to the manufacture of steel playground equipment the company has always offered a diverse range of light steel engineering services and products including industrial materials handling trolleys, architectural steelwork, steel balustrades, palisade fencing, domestic and industrial burglar proofing, gate and access automation. The companies established factory premises are well equipped to handle light steel fabrication and manufacturing jobs of all types.

The company recently undertook a re-launch of its entire Safplay Playground Equipment product range under the new name Safeplay Playground Equipment to coincide with the launch of its website Safeplay.co.za. The same commitment to quality and the supply of child safe playground equipment will continue to be the cornerstone of the newly named Safeplay range.
